Hello people!  Welcome to the Lasi Language & People blogspot. I am Milan Madhani, 36, and married to a beautiful Lasi woman, thus my inspiration. Lasi people are an Indic people from the Lasbela district of Pakistan. They claim to originally hail from Balochistan, but their language more closely reflects an amalgam of Sindhi and Kutchi, two other well known Indo-Aryan dialects. Many Lasi people are Hindus and Muslim. Those which are Hindu also follow varied beliefs within the Hindu belief system, with many following Sikhism itself.  My objective is to put the Lasi language and its people on the map. In this blog, I will attempt to highlight the basics of their language, their culture, their belief system, and their history, as best as I can. I invite all other people with knowledge of Lasi history & culture to do the same. Thanks, and see you on the other side. - Milan
